The other teams were GLIC, who won the Champion's Award at the Nationals; L20, who won the Robot at the Regionals; Steve-E-3, who joined us in Estonia; and End_Tec.
We arrived at around 11am, and took the opportunity to have a look around. We saw the Speaker enter the Commons with the Mace, and the two Peters also saw Committee Room 14, where the Conservatives later had a vote of confidence in Theresa May.
After we went in to set up, we were spoken to by several people, including people from the IET, LEGO, the MoD, the DoT, and some MPs, including our MP's personal assistant. The organisers of the Year of Engineering gave some speeches, but they were directed at MPs and partners of the Year of Engineering, so they were somewhat uninteresting to us. The leader of GLIC also gave a short speech, which was more intriguing.
After we packed up, our MP's apprentice gave us a short tour of the Palace of Westminster, culminating in a visit to the Commons Gallery. Unfortunately, we arrived just as all the big names were leaving, but we did see some of them.
