As we did last year, we will post at regular intervals during the competition.
Until then, goodbye.

This was our last meeting before we go to Estonia! We manage to do an almost perfect robot run. The only thing that did not work was the tap mission. In the morning, we discussed homework, pratcised the robot changeovers, and all worked on sorting out some excess lego. In the afternoon, we practised all three presentations, and practised answering questions, which were asked by John S and Former team leader and member, Peter D.

This was the one before last week until we got to Estonia. All the Coaches, Mentors, Recruits, and Team Members were present. Here is what everyone did in the morning:
John H Team Member This was another meeting without Carys (due to a misunderstanding, I misspelled Carys's name as, "Karris" last week), Anna, Annie or Grace S. John S came as a mentor though. So, here is what John S, John H, Peter H, Sam and Gabriel did all day. (If you are confused by the names, go to the "About Us" page). Anyway:
John H Team Member This was another session with our future team members, Karris, Anna, and Annie. Grace also came to work with the future members, and John S came as a mentor/coach. It was quite busy all day, as you can imagine. To start with, we did a core values exercise. Here is how it worked. Firstly, we split into two teams. The first team was Carys, Anna, and Annie (the future members), John S, and Grace (Team A). The second team (Team B) was Gabriel, Sam, Peter, and me (John H) (everyone who is going to Estonia). The goal is to see who can build the highest freestanding tower from two cardboard cereal boxes. The catch is that each person is only allowed to use one hand! It is debatable who won. Team A's tower was higher, but fell down within 10 seconds. Team B's tower was substantially smaller, but did not fall down. After that, we practised the presentation and had lunch. Then, we split up as usual:
