Today we made a lot progress, particularly on the robot. Before lunch, we discussed homework. John S shared his deep understanding of centrifugal separators. I shared my Lego model of my suggested way of combining a bubble wall and centrifugal separator, and Grace did the same on paper. Everyone had given Peter H lists of what materials are in the clothes we wear. Peter H had then made a number of pie charts demonstrating the diversity of materials in our clothes. After lunch we all made great progress on our different mission trips, MTA is nearly finished.

Today, in the morning we discussed our homework, then, in afternoon, we worked on the robot. We also did a core values exercise.
John H, Team Member Today it was John H's 13th birthday, but it was still a usual session. In the morning, we discussed the different solution options and we decided on a solution to our problem. First, a bubble wall will bring the microfibres to the surface of the water and then a hydrocyclone to separate them from the rest of the water. Sam and Gabriel will test this over the course of the next few weeks. Then, in the afternoon, we all worked on our different mission trips. Most of us have started programming.
